Indeed. The GOP conference rules for 2023 makes it that you’re ineligible for leadership if you’re indicted on a felony facing a sentence of 2+ years.

That’s for the GOP leadership. The Speaker of the House is a constitutional office. Their rule doesn’t impose a restriction on that.
