IIRC, the evil Jewish minions of Magneto are pitted against Professor Xavier’s (‘X’, get it?) Christian mutant minions. And Wolverine is supposed to be a Christ figure.

The only devout Christian X-Man I remember is Nightcrawl. There may be a couple more, though.
