Saudis are just ISIS that gained power and settled a bit.

It’s worth noting that up until right after World War I, the Jordanian Hussein ruling family had been rulers of the two holy cities, Mecca and Medina, for some time. The Saudis and British pretty much gave the Husseins the heave-ho (they got Jordan as their consolation prize) and the House of Saud took over. I’ve heard some suggestions lately that maybe the cities would be managed better by the Husseins.
