Will it have much effect? Probably not. Just want to see whether I can get any of them to openly admit they are anti-democracy and/or lack any sense of civic duty and integrity.

“We are a republic, not a democracy” has been a hard-right mantra for 50 years or more. Democracy as a value peaked during FDR’s admin.
