What is it about Rush and Beck’s audiences that makes these radio personalities want to say this shit? They are both very successful and are arguably their comments broadly resonate with their audience. With leaders unwilling to stand up against these demagogues, is there any way forward for the GOP?

Rush’s comments, like unscientific anti-vax idiocy, will cause more than a few dittoheads to keep their kids away from the vaccine. No GOP leader will call him on it?
