My resignation at this point is because I knew it was eventually going to come to this. That there would be a reckoning and it would come because Boehner is probably one of the worst Speakers of the House in US history. 3 years and 42 votes later, he’s still trying to convince his caucus that they can have that unicorn if they just wish hard enough for it. He’s unwilling to make the hard choice to seek help from Democrats and that’s what will ultimately doom his party.

I honestly don’t have very high hopes for the debt ceiling at the moment either.
