I’ve met them several times at sporting events. 41 is a decent man, and surely does not recognize today’s GOP. His nickname while a congressman was “Rubbers” because he enthusiastically supported birth control measures and Planned Parenthood. Such support today would have had him excommunicated and probably accused of being un-American.
