Very local news: The Bissell vacuum from Amazon arrived Wednesday (yay for one-day shipping!).

Bought this model: amazon.com

It’s …. ok.

For $90 it’s fine.

Seems rather unsubstantial compared to my 40 year old Eureka and I’m not expecting this new one to last that long.

But on first try on some carpet it worked decently.

Assembly instructions are minimal but I figured most of it out.

So I guess I will give it a qualified recommendation, if you’re in the market for such a device.
