I’m hearing elsewhere that Davis is being offered a compromise: She gets out of jail if she agrees not to interference in the issuing of marriage licenses by her deputy clerks.

Personally, I find that rather ridiculous, that they’re offering to let her out of jail if she agrees to the very thing she’s spent weeks refusing to do.

That already happened.
She refused the compromise, so she’s still in jail.
