Yeah having grown up in that same era. That era wasn’t exactly innocent. If she doesn’t want her daughter to listen to certain music, that’s her right as a parent but don’t act like the 90’s was some wholesome era for music. Frankly, music has never been “wholesome.”.

IIRC, Christian parents were apoplectic over the 1990’s Britney Spears. Those outfits, her barely adolescent sexuality. The end of Christian Civilization as we know it.
