It Was Never About the Thanks (goes to Stonekettle Station)

I suspected as I watched Mr. Wright’s Twitter feed this week over all the people weighing in on him trying to go shopping and complaining at him because he wasn’t sufficiently happy to a sales clerk telling him “thank you for your service” that it would get turned into one of his essays.

This one is worth reading. In this, he speaks for me.

The lesson I learned is that I keep my mouth shut because too many times brainwashed assholes who go to church every Sunday said they were glad my son died for Jesus.

That’s why I threw the prize in the trash and want nothing to do with it while his mother flaunts it at church every time she can.
