America is stuck with a 40-hour work week when there are lots of other prospering economies that get by on less. It is just a matter of priorities.

We are still suck with the Protestant Work Ethic that tells us that work is a virtue in and of itself while our labor laws and practices treat it more like just another fungible commodity.

If I hear another fucking Christofascist say, “If a man does not work, he shall not eat,” without recognizing the context, Imma murder somebody. I swear to God above, Christians these days are so ignorant about what the Bible actually means, because they’re too damn lazy to do real research and are only reading it because their pastor tells them to.
