Article makes an interesting point about how big companies like McDs and government assistance programs. Really, if I were opposed to such programs (I am not) but if I were, I’d have a bigger problem with Fortune 500 companies like McDs paying their employees so shitty that they have to get on government assistance.

You forget that those companies are the same ones that are basically funding those who complain constantly about the safety net, like ‘baggers/Republicans.
