I’m a big believer in ‘If you’re explaining, you’re losing.’

Trump’s campaign carries the stench of abject incompetence to anyone who’s not a full on cult member. Pierson can laugh off her mistakes all she wants, but she makes them in public. That impression is really taking hold, especially after Rudy’s stupidity yesterday, and it will eventually strangle that campaign altogether.

This is all apparent to anyone with half a brain, even to the leaders and members of the still-mentally-functioning wing of the GOP.

And it is clear to most of the networks, but their job is to sell advertising time, and Trump foundering and stumbling over his own utterances makes for good ratings. It is even clear to CNN and Fox, but they do not want to risk losing viewership by stating the obvious, namely that Hillary is the only reasonable candidate being presented to us this election.
