Okay, so I looked into it. 4 is the Median number. 12 is the Mean. When you get that big a separation between Median and Mean, you have some SERIOUS skew. Best bet is shit load of people reading 0-1 book a year, with a small number reading a fuckton.

When I was in high school, quantities went: shitload, fuckton, brick. A brick was a LOT.
