One thousand updings. I don’t think anyone truly wants to keep things “the way they are” (Medicare et al. are in pretty bad shape, and SOMEthing needs to be done), but this is exactly the wrong way to go about it.

But don’t just DO something to being doing it. Why not start with trying to cover the people who really need help and leave the people who don’t alone?
