I’m just glad that the Harry Potter movies are made by Brits or Voldemort would have had a Texas twang and a wife named Laura.

Amazingly, they tried to be true to the stories, and did a very good job. Not perfect, but very good.
Maybe somebody at the studio didn’t want to be inundated by millions of upset Harry Potter fans, pointing wands and trying to levitate studio executives until they fell in the mud.
