I’ve always thought Terminator 2 was one of the very few sequels that was actually better than the original. An action film that wasn’t stupid.

I like T2, but… Most of the plot was recycled from deleted scenes and dropped ideas from the first movie. It’s almost as if James Cameron finally had big studio support and a budget and decided to re-make the first movie the way he really wished he could have the first time. That and Arnold Schwarzenegger had become really popular then so there’s no way in hell people would accept him as a bad guy.
