I’m all too familiar with the bad craziness in El Paso County, CO. My sister has lived there for 12 years.

Before I married my wife, she lived in Colorado Springs, working for Digital Equipment Corporation. She saw the wingnut takeover as it happened, along with Focus on the Family moving in and such.

When Digital shut down, she left for saner territory (Oklahoma, and that’s quite a comparison to call Oklahoma sane in comparison to anything).
