That’s just it: Neither Trump nor the rest of the GOP leadership want the country’s best interest. They’re only looking out for their own best interest. They haven’t figured out yet that their own best interest isn’t being served by the path they’re taking, but they’re too short-sighted to realize it.

For much of the GOP, this is a sticky wicket: they need Trump’s active support for the upcoming GA runoff elections and dare not enrage his pre-school wrath by asking him to finally admit that he lost and step aside.
