The whole Drag Queen controversy goes back to the Fundamentalist notion that homosexuality is such an abomination that it cannot come from God: gays and transsexuals have to seduce and groom young, innocent and unsuspecting souls into their evil lifestyle by nefarious means.

They cannot begin to conceive of the notion of someone being “born that way”.

Not all Drag Queens are transgender or even gay. They are performers. There are cishetero married men who perform as Drag Queens.
