The timing of the kidnapping in Pakistan fits - the Jihad was fairly reticent to do kidnappings as they did throughout the 80s with Bush in office. More kidnappings will occur and Obama will try to negotiate releases as Reagan tried. He will get no where except to prostrate himself before the “clenched fists.”
