That mural was not destroyed. Its still on display in Detroit. I’ve stood in that room dozens of times looking at that. It is pretty over the top with the whole Industry=Death theme. Especially seeing as Edsel Ford commissioned it.

Here is the mural. It just reminds me that I haven’t been to the Detroit Art Museum in almost 40 years, even though I live just north of the border in Southfield.
