You should be very very skeptical of any claims made by Megan McArdle - she is deeply connected to the Koch Brothers and other climate change denial groups, and is definitely NOT a disinterested observer in this.

I don’t see how connections refute arguments, though. It’s not like I rely on unverifiable opinions. The Fundraising PDF is available, see p. 22 for the table. It clearly states that 200,000$ is not a 2011 donation but a projected 2012 donation, so the memo got it mixed up. And the code is indeed HCN, as in Pfizer et al., so the memo is outright incorrect in tying it to AGW agitprop.
