There’s a guy named Zac McFlimby who ‘shops some pretty good stuff. You probably know who I mean, but I just found about him yesterday after a Facebook friend posted a probably bogus story about a granny packing heat and chasing four guys out what she thought was HER car. (It was theirs, same make, model and color as hers.)

Anyway, the photo was of Queen Elizabeth II behind the wheel of a car holding an automatic handgun (with suppressor!) in her right hand, looking mean and tough. On the rearview mirror is McFlimby’s watermark. Had me fooled till I spotted it.

My favorite shop of all time…what I call the Lee Harvey Oswald trio. The famous photo of Ruby shooting a grimacing Oswald with the Dallas police dude standing there with the what the hell look. They gave Oswald a mic, Ruby a Telecaster and the cop a set of keyboards. It’s a howler!

Hey, of course a quick google and up it pops. Many may have already seen it, but just in case. Notice they built up the noise level of the instruments to have the texture of the original photo and manipulated the curves and contrast to fit a newsprint image. Good stuff.
