The only problem with Into Darkness, to me, was Kahn. It wasn’t so much the story, it’s just that there will never be another Ricardo Montelban.
I do agree that it will be an improvement.

Yeah, I think much like Nero in the first film, they barely characterized him and that hurt the film. Combine that with the poor casting choice, and it just sort of falls apart. There were good moments in the film, but overall it just doesn’t hold up under repeat viewings.
