Uh, the Duggars aren’t Catholic, so there’s no confessional. There’s also no distinction in their religion, AFAIK, between venial and mortal sin. Moreover, the ‘sanctity of the confessional’ has never applied to law enforcement.

So, basically the author of that tweet is throwing out a lot of chaff.
