re: #171 Wendell Zurkowitz ((slave to the waffle light))
Thatās probably part of it as well. But over the last four or five years, conspiracy and disinformation websites have become all the rage.
The most notorious is the Czech version of Russiaās Sputnik website, along with another website known as Parliamentary Pages, which shares a lot of content with the aforementioned Sputnik.
A website called Aeronet (ostensibly started by a shadowy figure who claims to be a Czech aviation enthusiast living in the USA, though itās strongly suspected - thanks to some good olā investigate journalism - that heās a Czech living in a small village not far from Prague whoās getting paid by individuals connected to the Russian government) which is the main promulgator of the QAnon craziness as well as anti-Semitism here.
Then thereās Patriotic News, which regularly calls for the summary execution of Czech government officials and notables like Greta Thunberg.
And finally, thereās another big site known as Anti-Current, which is somewhere between Free Republic, Infowars and Breitbart on the shrieking lunacy scale.
I used English translations of the names to spare anyone from having to stumble into those voids of madness.
