Y’all were both getting snarky there… like two bantam roosters in a pit.

The Israeli government (which is what gdf was speaking of WRT to its nuclear dealings with apartheid-era SA and WRT how Palestinians are treated in Israeli society), especially when RWers like Netanyahu are in charge, has done some absolutely inexcusable stuff in the name of “the nation”, but so has our own (in abundance) and so has pretty much every nation that’s ever been. The thing is, do we close our eyes and sweep it under the rug or do we acknowledge when the governments we give the power to govern in our name do shit they shouldn’t and demand better?
