Somewhat on-topic; NPR this morning had a short piece on the expected confirmation of Eric Holder. They quoted Holder as saying that he carries around in his wallet a little card, inscribed with something a Minister he knew once said. An uplifting message about American being the land of opportunity? Or about equality and justice?

Of course not. It was instead a quote to the effect that, “no matter how successful you become in America, people will still always look at you as only being black.”

So, summing up; our new Attorney General likes to carry around a card in his wallet reminding him to always, always harbor racial resentment.
