Her music stinks, but I enjoy her presence. She’s not a blow-up doll, nor a generic Miss America contestant, and she sings about Arthur C. Clarke and Alfred Hitchcock. Her music is trash, but she looks interesting. The fact that she is impressive shows how low the standard is.

She has managed to gain fame beginning by posting her own videos on you-tube - no famous parents or friends or relatives, no American Idol, no starting out as a cutesy kid on a Disney show and morphing into a white-trash singer in adulthood (Britney).

I have a certain admiration for her.
