As an addendum, this is why I am hoping that Doctor Who will not go gritty and dark. It would smack of this so, so much.

Ah can’t really comment on that since I’ve only seen a handful of shows. I’m looking forward to Boardwalk Empire Season 4 and Homeland Season 3 tho.
