This is what passes for commentary on the intellectual right today. A black kid said mean racist things to the author, ergo not only is the state of Illinois doomed, but it’s all the fault of the governor. Yeah, that’s a really strong logical connection.

Kevin D. Williamson isn’t much different from Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh in his blowhard right wing dog whistle style. Except he went to college and has no radio/TV skills, so he gets to write for National Review.
