Late last night I had this thought: Just like 150 years ago, conservatives are once again willing to destroy the country to maintain power. And once again, it will be up to liberals to decide if that’s what we want to happen (there are more of us than them). And if we decide we don’t want the country broken up, we will have to figure out how we want to keep it together.
