Trump may be sensitive to such things - he grew up in an era where the use of poison gas against civilians (in this case, the Shoah) was universally reviled and condemned as nothing less than the gravest atrocity imaginable. After all, he was born in 1946 and by his formative years, I’m sure this universal revulsion would’ve left an impression on him. This isn’t the first time - the use of chemical weapons against civilians….especially kids…..seems to set him off.

It may well be the one shred of human decency he has.
