Maybe that his religion is listed as Muslim? And the Secret Service would be afraid that this would make security harder since according to Sharia law he would be an apostate who has forfeited his life.

It also could make it more difficult for him to deal with Islamic countries and their leaders in general. I’m no expert but there may be other bizarre rules of what they can and can’t do (such as meet, discuss or eat together) with a known apostate. I don’t think they even have to honor agreements with infidels much less apostates under Islamic law.
