Well, it’s closer than that abomination of a decision between Marvin Gaye’s family and Pharrel’s Happy.

I can hear a similarity, but honestly, how many way can you put notes together? I don’t hear anything that sounds like a blatant rip off.

But what do I know?

It’s a win/win for the plaintiff’s estate: thousands of people are listening to a song that would have otherwise been a minor footnote in musical history.
