I’m a couple of months into the Keto life as well, but I had real issues with almond flour and pork rinds for breading/breadcrumbs. Also, I do spend 5 of my grams of sugar on sugar for my coffee. I found some keto creamer that tasted okay, but it refused to actually dissolve in my coffee.

I definitely second the advice to use keto to kickstart and then gradually go up to 30g. I did one of those keto cleanses over a weekend (bone broth, electrolytes, coffee), and dropped a quick 5 that didn’t come back. At 30g you can do stuff like eat an open-faced hamburger in a pinch and not break your diet (say, on 6-9 hour drives).

The biggest problem for my wife, btw, is the lack of availability of fruit on keto. Some berries are fine, most fruit is out though because the net carbs are still too high. For other people…probably beer/wine is a factor.
