Ace, do you have an example of an atheist wanting to remove the rights of the religious?
Many of us work towards a time when religion is viewed as astrology is today, but we do it by making sure science is kept science, education is not influenced by a particular religion, and by educating the religious on the sources of atheist moral values and purpose in life.
There is some yowling about religious indoctrination by parents as a form of child abuse, but that is just a bit of quasi-cathartic barking at the moon.
How about the father who was an atheist and did not want his daughter to say the pledge of allegiance?
