The only surprise would be some actual connecting with people on a broad base. Considering Romney, that would be a surprise, indeed.

If folks are convinced that Obama’s policies are killing/stalling the recovery and that the vintage 1980 “supply side” snake oil that the GOP is selling will fix things, then Romney’s inability to emote will be less of a campaign issue.
