I sometimes wonder if there’s even a modicum of introspection going on in Kelly’s mind over these attacks she’s receiving from her erstwhile allies. Because deep down she absolutely should have expected it and while I can’t say anybody deserves to be the target of the kind of vicious misogynistic attacks that have leveled against her, she did damned near everything possible over her career to legitimize her attackers and their atavistic point of view.

I had a similar thought in dissecting S.E. Cupp’s ridiculous assertion that moderates and liberals are behind the rise of Trump. The instinct to feel sorry for certain segments of right wing punditry when it comes to their task to dealing with the Trump phenomenon is balanced by the reality they all played a role in making it possible.
