My dad’s lab at work were all comic book characters, since the initials he went by at the office were BAT.

So of course, it started with Batman.

My home network is MiddleEarth. The machines are named appropriately: The lord of the manor, my tower, is Aragorn. My wife’s various laptops were named after the hobbits. Her tower is Eowyn.
