Yesterday, the Houston Chronicle published a report about sexual predators in the Southern Baptist Convention.
Today, one of the more obnoxious Baptists, and a former Southern Baptist (who left in the last year or so because the SBC was getting into the “social gospel” *snort*), came up with THIS equation (with my response).
You sad man. Jesus didn’t live and die so you could call women pastors sinners equal to child sexual predators. And he didn’t give you permission to do so either. You can now just Sit Down and Shut Up. PS yourwife and children should leave you until you respect their humanity.

He then doubled down:
slavery is biblical. Owning women is biblical. Keeping concubines and raping them is biblical. And they’re all illegal. You’ll pardon me if I don’t take “biblical” as a guide for *right* because the Bible has some awful things in it.

Seth Dunn is part of the “Pulpit & Pen” collective, the “National Enquirer” of the Calvinistic Baptists. He’s not a pastor but an accountant and he thinks very highly of himself. But it’s sick to say that women pastors are the same as child molesters. That’s a sick and twisted view of women and if I was his wife, I’d bail and take the kids.
