I think that a lot of British people have a dark fear that in burying Elizabeth II, they are watching the beginning of the end of the Monarchy…nobody likes the cranky twat who has taken over.

I reckon a lot of the pomp and ceremony is to imprint the succession in peoples minds. It is Elizabeth II being buried, and not the institution.

That being said, has anybody swung by the Tower of London to check on the crows?
