I take your point that no one called him out in this thread by name, but up thread there are links to and discussion of the Paul Krugman article that calls out the GOP mainstreaming of irrational hate—- rush is one of them.

Anyway, I agree with you he was (one of) the most visible and blatant spreaders of that kind of filth in re Abu G, but a lot of people here would agree with you on that, I think. I don’t think it’s true to say that everyone here has a godlike devotion to Rush. I’m sure there are others here like me who can’t stand him or even actively despise him. :)

And I’m not saying I do, I enjoy listening to his program. But I get pissed at dumb shit like calling feminists feminazis and how the dittoheads regurgitate his stupid explanations “well a black man called obama, that makes it just fine to call him a magic negro!” NO IT DOESN’T. It’s not about political correctness, it is about basic human decency.
