It’s the largest component of the GOP “base”, and is the crowd, older, that turns out for every election. They are the ones that turned out in 2010 when the Obama youth decided to not show up at the polls and vote for Democrats, and thus turned the Congress into the Tea Paryting mess.

I still believe that Obama would tear Santorum apart in any debate or encounter, even if Santorum speaks with Jesus twice a day.
