Maybe the password was changed, and they didn’t get control back?

If the password was changed (as an explanation for why it was left up all night) why did they suddenly regain control in the morning?

If I wanted to f*** with somebody and could change their password to anything I wanted I’d probably set it to Edison3Samuel1Vimes8 after the name of one of my friends, the Discworld Character they remind me of, interspaced with my birthday.

It’s easy for me to remember but I somehow doubt one night’s worth of random guessing would provide a solution to it….
