I liked the speech, and I’m a very reserved fan of BO…he does have a knack tho…I see nothing here to complain about except that he should have made these proposals two years ago…but I try to stay in the present

This speech reminded me of why I became an Obama supporter in the first place. It was aggressive, but still had a core message of bipartisanship. As someone (think it may have been laZardo?) pointed out the other day, progressives who whine about President Obama not being candidate Obama seem to forget that he ran on a platform of bipartisanship and working together, not one strictly of progressivism.
