And bullcrap on the South being better. The region is beautiful, but with a few very notable exceptions, it is a backwards region more similar to Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

The only reason they perform better is because they feed at the federal trough like no other states.

That story has deepened my anger at the South. We didn’t do a Radical Enough Reconstruction.

Hey, there’s more than a few of us Southern Lizards here who are frustrated with some of our fellow citizens, but take it as we can because we like where we live and because we think we can make a difference.

In short, don’t be slagging places that you have no fucking idea what you’re talking about.
