Besides trying to protect my children, I was also trying to protect my 90-year-old grandmother from anything she could have gotten from my children…particularly since she lived with us and had close contact with the kids on a daily basis.

I once read that Japan had lowered the incidence of flu among the elderly by vaccinating all the kids.
